Lex stands off to the side, sipping at a glass of scotch and watching everything. He loves parties. There were just never enough good parties in Smallville, and, besides, he really couldn't go out to clubs and spoil the image he was trying to create. Clubbing is, after all, what got him sent to Smallville in the first place.

But this isn't Smallville, or Metropolis, or anywhere, so the consquences would be slim. All he has to do is wait for more people, a good party sized crowd, and then ... Well, he expects to have a good night.

Here's the first of the party sized crowd, who heads by and gives Lex a friendly smile. "Hey, where'd you get the scotch? All I could find was champagne."

Geoffrey Tennant isn't the most party-hearty of people. But he decides that he should get out more and so, leaving Oliver in his room (despite Oliver's protestations), Geoffrey hovers by the food. Hopefully, the social situation will be easy enough to handle. He's done premiers and that sort of shit, hasn't he?

Scotty decides to do a little undercover test marketing, strolling over to Geoffrey with a smile. He picks up a plate and starts putting some food on it, glancing up at him. "Hi," he grins, peeking up at him before he stands up and offers a hand. "I'm Scotty."

Geoffrey shakes his hand, all Canadian brand politeness. "Scotty, hi. I'm Geoffrey Tennant. I don't think I've met you before. Though I've sort of been a hermit lately, so that's not really saying much."

"Not entirely your fault. I just got here, so I haven't met many people either. It's very nice to meet you." This place has its share of attractive men, Scotty gives it that.

So, the sound of the music has drawn Grace downstairs. Grabbing a handful of finger-food off a table (not bothering with a plate), she checks around. One room looks like something Paige would come up with, and the other is--What the Hell, strobe lights?

"Hey! Could someone tell me where y'all hid the good drinks?"

And Clark will be walking into the main room, looking around a bit.

"Wow," he says, more to himself than anyone in particular. "Someone outdid themselves."
