The bar was quickly becoming one of Justin's favorite places, as much as anything in the place could be a favorite when he had never had any intention of being there; it wasn't even the alcohol he was there for (though it did help to calm his nerves a little, which were still shot from the unexpected turn of events topped off on what had already

Giselle comes down from her room for breakfast and notices him sitting, yet again, at the bar. Deciding she's not that hungry she takes a seat next to him.
"I didn't think you'd been here long enough t'be drowning yer sorrow, luv. Wha's wrong?"

Justin curses under his breath as he messes up yet another napkin drawing, then tosses it aside with the rest.

"How does anyone get used to just ending up here?"

"Dunno. Some of us had a worse life before, and we got some friends here. Others don't really notice."

"How can they not notice?" He takes another sip of his drink. "I guess it wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't a certain person here. His being here makes it hard."

Very, very hard.

Connor gave the young man a friendly nod and polite smile, "Lookin' fer some company, per chance? Always better t'drink with someone than t'drink alone."

Justin nods back, then indicates the empty bar stool beside him. "Yeah, sure, why not."

He took a seat, then offered his hand, "Connor MacManus, pleasure t'meetchya."

"Justin Taylor," he says, shaking his hand. "How long have you been in this place?"

"You get used to it, you know," Harry says as he comes up beside Justin, stopping to fetch a glass and pour himself a drink. "Doesn't seem like it, but you will. People have been getting used to stranger things for a long time."

"Yeah?" Justin looks dubious. "What are we supposed to do here?"

"What you do at home. Eat, drink, lounge on the beach. Granted, the people ask for a lot less leadership here."

Justin laughs at that. "At home I went clubbing a lot, but I don't see any club here."

John wanders over to sit by the bar, he's drinking a beer and looking like he's half expecting someone to take it off him, he doesn't know what the policy on the legal drinking age is here. He glances at Justin briefly before looking back at his drink.

Justin looks over at him - he's not about to object to anyone that's potentially under age for being in the bar, he was only seventeen when he made his first trip to Liberty Avenue after all. Instead he pours himself another glass full of brandy, then looks at him again.

"Hi."

John glances back at him, smirking slightly.
"Hey."

"You been here in this place long?"

Brian walks into the bar, it being a regular haunt of his aswell, especially with having little all to do to fill his time. Soon after entering he notices the blonde sitting at the bar. His first thought is to just turn and leave, but no, why should Brian Kinney be the one to leave, and besides, he was here first.

He strides over to the bar and sits on the stool beside him.

"I'd offer to buy you a drink but being as they're pretty free flowing, don't think there'd be much point."

Fuck. The last thing Justin wanted was Brian showing up. He crumples up his latest screwed up drawing and drops it on top of the rest.

"Yeah, no point at all."

"Well aren't we chirpy." He smirks with a sarcastic tone. "Did someone not take his vitamins this morning?"

Justin gives him an unamused smile at that but doesn't encourage it with a response; instead, he changes the subject and picks up his glass to swirl and study it's contents.

"This place is boring as hell."
