Does anyone here want some lemonade? I swear it's not laced with morphine like Sherlock Holmes's tea at the Canon-Masion (aka DF), or dysentery like Pestilence's...well, tea. Lemonade is yummy and innocuous! It's not even the fake Koolaid stuff! Real lemons here, folks

Well, I was gonna offer cookies, but then the kids jumped all over me when the first batch was out of the oven, and they scooped up cookies off the wax in their hands even though they were still at the point where they're melting, and then they finger-painted the cabinets with the gooey chocolate, so I just gave them the rest of the dough to fight over even though I know it has raw egg so I'm a bad mother. *grin* But it is ma's recipe, except I switched half the sugar for maple syrup because I heard you can do that and I figured it would mean less real sugar to rile the kids up with, 'cause they're already getting a batch of cookie dough that would have made a gross.
