A rather stuffy little man (of, apparently, Japanese ancestry) appears on the scene looking absolutely confused and quite worried. At his side, he wears a snickersnee (katana, for these purposes ^^x) and he carries a small fan in his hands. "Oh dear," he murmurs. "I don't think I'm in Tipitu anymore

"Afraid not," Roger answered, leaning against the railing. "You're on a mysterious boat.

"Dear me, this won't do at all...." He reconsiders this after a moment. "Ah, forgive me, young sir, my name is Koko. May I ask yours?"

"I'm Roger," he answered, vaguely amused.

Combeferre shifts his glasses, eyes lighting up. "A true man of Japan? Mon dieu, I never thought I'd meet one. How are you, mon ami? My name is Matthieu Combeferre."

[snickersneeee]

"I am well at the present, I am happy to say, Combeferre-san. I pray you'll forgive me -- my name is Koko and," he adds with some pride. "I do happen to be the Lord High Executioner to his majesty the Mikado!"

"Hello there..." Of all the confusing things to happen on this boat, this little man was probably the most confusing.

Koko jumps, startled. "Dear me! Oh, I am sorry, hello there, sir. I don't suppose you've seen the Mikado about lately?"

"I've never heard of... it." Arnaud hopes that is the right pronoun as he has no idea who or what a Mikado is.

"Ah, I see.... Am I right in saying that we are no longer in Japan?" Koko asks, his face a mask of worry.
