Various members of this community may have noticed the absence, in recent weeks, of a certain angel by the name of Aziraphale. Whether or not he's been wondered or worried over, the truth of the disappearance is about to come out

"Hello," Aziraphale blinks, and absently brushes a cobweb off his left ear. "Don't think I know you, must've arrived very recently, hmm?" Ah, he's oblivious.
"A...ziraphale," the angel answered, remembering after only a moment's hesitation that this wasn't the old Earth, and there was certainly no need to pretend to be human.
Aziraphale blinks owlishly at Anathema, taking the handkerchief and looking uncertainly at it. "Oh, yes? Well, my dear, it's really quite an excellent collection, you see... Someone really must catalogue it, I doubt it's been done, actually it looks as though no one has even been in there in simply ages..."
*gasp ISSAZIRAZOMG* *here Zira, have a bouncy and overly curious four-year-old peeking at you over the top of your book* *would say hi, but she's debating whether or not he's a statue*
*blinks, a bit baffled, at the little girl* ...oh, er... hello there... *never really has known what to do with the little things, at least until they're a BIT larger...*
The nod catches his attention--there's only one Angel who can say that much in a nod, isn't there?--and suddenly there's a tiny light behind his blank eyes. "Aziraphale."
"Yes!" Aziraphale says brightly, still searching through his mind for a name - not a Gabriel, not a Joseph, certainly not a Clarence - ah, Michael! That must be it, or at least-- "...Michael, so pleased to see you again," he attempts.
Typist: LOOK WE CAN HAVE A MATCHING SET OF NEWLY!ACTIVE-GO-MAIN-CHARACTERS--!
Obviously, the library won't be a good enough excuse for a particular demon, now rounding the corner with a slight glare (though you can't see it because of the sunglasses).
"Where have you been?" Crowley asks, clearly irritated, although it's not like he has been around recently, either.
Typist: ... I'M NUTS. XD at least I thought of a reason for Aziraphale to have been missing all this time. I'm stuck for my other characters. ;__;
"In the library, my dear boy," Aziraphale answers in surprise, as though it's the most obvious thing in the world. His face lightening, he adds, "They've quite a collection housed here, you know! I just spent, oh, a good few hours I should imagine it's been, looking through all the books..."
"Well, of course, the library," Crowley echoes, starting to realize what had happened and growing slightly incredulous. "I should have known that. And you've been in there for weeks, not hours."
He gives an exasperated shake of his head. "Angels."
Aziraphale raises both eyebrows, looking as disbelieving as Crowley. "Weeks? Really? That seems - most unbelievable - no, no, my dear boy, you must be wrong-- ...really, weeks?"
