Lestat saunters into the hall of the Mansion and stops short when he reaches its centre. Then placing his hands on his hips, he shouts to no one in particular. "I'm rather bored, and could use an adventure to pass the time. Does anyone know of where I can find one? Preferably one that is grand and world changing, but I'll settle for something less

"If it isn't my pretty boy, come here," Lestat bends down and scoops him up, touching his hair lightly. "How was your day, my love?"

He nods to April with a grin. "Seems to be, doesn't he? I don't know why. Perhaps he knows that children aren't my taste. Or perhaps I should say, they're no longer my taste. No, I'll just say that there is only _one_ who is currently to my tastes."

Will: *babbles happily about his day, various understandable words being "Cee", "Mama", "Kitty", and "Mar" (Mark), among others*

*laughs a little* Well, I'm thankful for that, at least.

"Oh really? That sounds positively exciting. What a full day you've had!" Lestat smiles, bouncing Will on his hip.

"And how has your day been, cherie? Did you have your date last night after all, or did you spend your late night hours thinking of me?" He asks huskily, giving her the 'come hither' eyes.

Molochai flopped out on a nearby couch, leather-clad legs draped over the arm. "It's fucking boring here sometimes." He eyed Lestat appreciatively and grinned, revealing teeth filed to sharp points. "You look like fun, though."

"Finally someone else here sees the truth besides me!" Lestat flops on a chair across from him and laughs. Seeing his teeth, he frowns slightly. "Are you... a vampire?"

He leans over for a closer look, eyeing him curiously.

"Um -- no fucking kidding?" He snorted and lit a cigarette, blowing smoke at Lestat. "Figured I shouldn't bother hiding it here. No one gives a flying fuck anyway." Molochai glanced at Lestat, licking his lips a little. "You too, right?"

Twig wandered in, everpresent hoho in hand. He beamed when he noticed Molochai and another rather sexy looking guy. "MOLOCHAI!"

"Adventure, huh? I've had my share of adventures," says the bum, complete with ratty coat, coffee cup filled with a few coins, and pneumatic wheeze. Aside from this, he appears young, and that he could be a handsome guy if he was healthy and not high

"Have you? Would you care to take a seat and tell me one of them? I enjoy hearing stories," Lestat ushers him over and offers him a large cushy chair. "Would you like something to eat or drink?"

"Its nothing worthhearing - "Sebastian paused when Lestat mentioned food. "but...i could tell you over dinner?"

[devilish_prince]

"I'm not hungry for food myself," Lestat smirks, "But I'd be more than happy to accompany you to the kitchen. Perhaps I can pull something suitable out from the plothole. This way, monsieur."

Lestat leads him to the kitchen by the arm, treating him as if he were another aristocratic gentleman, politely taking no notice of his garb, or his smell.

"I have no more adventures for you, Lestat. I have only myself and my music. But I offer you that, if you still want them."

"Nicki..." Lestat smiles and approaches his old companion and kisses him on both cheeks. "Don't say that as if they are worth so little. You are priceless, as is your music."

Nicki could help but smile softly, "Your infernal optimism and talks of goodness. Are you still the same after so many years?"

[devilish_prince]

"Much the same, much altered. And you? Do you still live with that impenetrable darkness? The one that even I could not dispel for you?" He takes Nicki's hands and squeezes them gently. "I... have missed you, Nicki."

*amusion* I have that problem, too. Nothing to do.

"You do? See? I'm not the only one around here then! And what do you do here, good sir, when such a thing occurs?"

Lestat frowns slightly. "I'm sorry sir, chilluns?"

"Normally when I'm bored, I go to see a show or go shopping or entertain guests. Hmmm, I haven't actually tried _leaving_. Perhaps I should do that and see if I _can_..."
