Lestat saunters into the hall of the Mansion and stops short when he reaches its centre. Then placing his hands on his hips, he shouts to no one in particular. "I'm rather bored, and could use an adventure to pass the time. Does anyone know of where I can find one? Preferably one that is grand and world changing, but I'll settle for something less ( Read more... )

"I haven't been here long. But I believe that for the most part socialization is a grand way to pass time. Meeting people from your past who ought to be dead or think you ought to be." She shrugs vaguely.

"I've kept myself busy planning a show."

"The both of us have." Angier chimes in, standing now beside his wife.

"Oh? A show? What kind of a show is it?" He asks them both. "Are you in theatre? I love theatre..."

Then bowing slowly, "Lestat de Lioncourt, at your service."

She grins, secretively. "It's a secret. You'll simply have to wait until the eleventh of November to see."

"We are in theatre, as a matter of fact." Another grin.

She'll curtsy. "Julia Angier. And this handsome gentleman is The Great Danton."

Well, you could talk to me, if you want. *grins*

Turning around he sees Jessy and smiles flirtatiously. "Yes, yes I suppose I could, couldn't I?" He takes her hand and kisses it softly. "A pleasure as always, mademoiselle."

*and she'll smile flirtatiously right back (sorry, Christian, but it's Lestat)* So. Any possible way I can unbore you?

Lestat shrugs non-chalantly, thought his eyes spell mischief. "Oh I don't know, what did you have in mind?" He grins wickedly.

Bored already, are you? I suppose that is par for the course in the world of Lestat.

"Par for the course?" he snorts. "In case you didn't notice, the Mansion isn't _that_ big. And there don't seem to be _that_ many people around. What else was I supposed to do? Go on a feeding frenzy?" Lestat plops himself in a chair, looking just a mite sulky.

*just facepalms* I still can't believe I spent sixty-five years with you.

"Oh, as if you were _such_ a joy to be around. With your whinging and your staring at my wrist for hours and moping about the house feeling guilty for being what you are. And don't you act like I held you there against your will. I _didn't_."

Need I remind you of Claudia? You knew I would never leave without her.

"Ah yes, Merciful Death. As if I could forget her, or the knife she put to my throat..." Lestat grimaces and touches his neck lightly. "I suppose I should be grateful that I kept my secrets as hidden."

He turns to Louis with a half-scornful, half-injured look. "And you didn't leave without her, did you? You took her away with you. On your mad hunt for 'the others'. If you were both so determined to be gone, if you both hated me so much, it's a wonder why it took you so long to be rid of my odious presence in the first place." Looking away, Lestat puts his hands in his pockets and shrugs.

Draco glares at Lestat. "Do you have to make such a racket?"

Lestat whips around and frowns at the youth standing before him. "I wasn't making a racket. I was making an announcement. There's a difference," he replies snootily.

"It just sounded like a racket to me." He looks distastefully at him.

"I'm sorry if it offended your sensitive constitution. I shall remember next time to be more considerate of others before I go screaming like a banshee." The left side of his mouth curls up a bit.
