*and in a rather unprincely scrawl beneath it* Why, have not old men thick enough skin?

My Lord, it is as a means of prevention against being once more set on fire. 'Tis not my skin but my robes that I must concern myself with.

*in small, precise letters:*
If anyone is able to provide me with fireproof materials, I would be able to make you new robes.

I shall indeed come to you for robes if any fireproof materials are to be found.

*in a very neat handwriting beneath the others*

Dear Polonius sir,

It is of no consequence if you are lucky enough to procure fire-proofed robes.

We shall only set your head on fire instead.

Our deepest regards, and looking forward to seeing you again soon,

Fred & George

She looks a bit horrified as she reads Fred and George's answer to Polonius' inquiry.

"Fred! George! ... -Honestly-!"

"What? It's -true-." Fred shrugs with a smile.

"Would you rather we lied to him?"

"That's cruel, don't you think?"

"There he'd be, strutting past us with his fire-proof robes."

"Thinking he was now immune."

"Conveniently forgetting his fire-proofed woofy-looking hat."

"Next thing you know, without -any- warning--"

"His head's on fire!"

"Isn't better to warn him?" Fred crosses his arms over his chest.

George copies his brother's gesture and nods. "I think it is."

"Definitely."

"Shall I set you two on fire then? Or maybe box you in?"

She smiles sweetly.
