Is anyone here concerned about what their fiance, husband, wife, girlfriend or boyfriend is up to? Do you worry about them cheating on you or flirting so incessantly with other people that it could possibly lead to more? Do they actually do these things and if so what do you do about it

*musingly, a slight smile on his face* I know mine flirts with the world in general, especially those of the female persuasion, and more than occasionally beds said females, and yet I would not call him disloyal.

"I think you should count your blessings where they lie."

"....... Perhaps."

[fightingblind]

"After all, it could be much, much worse, especially considering the power you say he has." Voice of experience where?

[demonfiance]

"I have been on the.. receiving end of his power. The day of our engagement, in fact." He pauses, admitting reluctantly: "Although I did bring that upon myself."

"...oh?"

[demonfiance]

"Our engagement was ... a misunderstanding of the culture of my world on his part. I was even less happy about what brought about this arrangement and so I tricked him into a duel. He... revealed his true power there." He explains in the plainest way he can without getting into too many details.

"I see. There is no way to break it?" He does not quite understand either engagements or marriage, as a general rule.

[demonfiance]

"It was a matter of pride at first. But now... I have developed feelings for him so I would not wish to break it off even if I thought I could."

He nods again. "Has he for you?"

[demonfiance]

"We... are close. He does not admit to more than liking me."

[fightingblind]

"No wonder you are so antsy about it."

[demonfiance]

"It does cause much frustration."
