Only when darkness falls and nothing in particular happens, she glides down, and enters the mansion through an open window, perching on the edge of a chair -- and then, suddenly, the air around her shimmers, her shape changes, and a woman sits in her place. He is indeed; and when he hears her voice, he rushes over (hopefully not pushing too many innocent bystanders aside, because he'd regret that terribly as soon as he calmed a bit) and wraps her in a tight hug.

For now she hugs back - clings, even - and says nothing, all that counts is that he is here, and she found him again.

He will be happy to hold her tightly for a long while, kissing her hair and her eyes and her lips, before finally speaking again.

"Oh, my love. Finally."

Her arms like wings around him, she too holds him tight, her heartbeats calming even as exhaustion descends on her.

"Yes, finally. But now I must rest... I have flown long and hard in search of you, beloved."
