Spike Stoker, ma'am. Can't say I'm much of a fan, but... Well, welcome, anyway.

Not a fan . . . ? *completely fails to understand this*

I'm so very pleased to meet you, really. I don't get out much these days, especially since my stalker's renegotiated his contract.

... jealous... lover? *looks confused* Why would I be murdered by a jealous lover? Woodnymphs are free to love whom they please.

Typist: Ophelia, still crazy, yeah.

Ophelia! Oh, but aren't you sweet? I suppose you wouldn't remember, after all the terrible, tragic things you saw, you poor dear. Anyhow, artistic license and so on-- oh! But what if you weren't mad at all, but feigning it so you could escape and run off with your true love-- who, of course, is-- oh. Oh, dear. Well, I'll fill that part in later, I suppose.

*giggles* Of course I'm not mad, you're being silly now! *blinks* What terrible tragic things are you talking about? Do you mean... *gasps and makes the sign of the cross* The Devil? He was here and... *shudders*

True love? *blinks and looks confused* Who... *wanders off, thinking*

*perks up and doesn't notice the assumption, because, zomg, French accent, how romantic!*

I am so glad to be here. I'm sure I'll have a wonderful time! And who might you be, my dear?

Thursday Next? Well, hello! It is a pleasure.

Oh, well-- really, you'd think people would be more understanding of art! He had a perfectly fitting ending, no need to go messing about with it.

Oh, yes, but he's just got to see reason. His version hasn't any sense of justice, of . . . of finality. The readers don't like it. I don't see why he can't be more understanding.

Always glad to be of any help I can, Thursday, dear. That's my business, you know. There's no telling what situations people will get into without a bit of fun to keep them on their feet.
