If anyone knows of how to stop a brain from actually thinking certain thoughts - at least for a time - please do let me know.

I just want to stop thinking of what happened. It is driving me absolutely nutters. Taking my own bloody advice would be a good start - if I could bring myself to do so.

It's not so easy, is it? You forget it and then it comes back at you and it's bloody everywhere and God.

Yes.. Exactly... Except in my case it never seems to go away - even for a second.

Oh, dear. There ... there might be a way, but I would have to speak with Rowena and Godric and Salazar first. If whatever thoughts these are are plaguing your sleep as well, that I can deal with quite easily.

I will look through my journals about what we did for ... well, there's no need to talk about that.

The waking thoughts are worse, although it does disturb my sleep as well.

Well, until I figure out what else can be done, you should take some of this. *sends along a potion* It's from my own studies. We used it on the students who had ... well, it wasn't pleasant, that's all that needs to be said. A simple memory charm would probably work, but it would have unpleasant side-effects ...

I did not want to use a memory charm. Thank you, ma'am, for the potion.

*is not sure yet whether he will actually use it*
