How d'you do, everyone? *beams* Christopher Wren here, nice to meet you. Well, this place is cozy isn't it? *rubs his hands together* You wouldn't happen to have a nice mohogany table in the dining room, would you? *looks hopeful*

Hallo. I'm Fleur.

Am afraid I do not have a mahogany dining-table, though I could buy you one?

BUY one? No, no! I was merely inquiring. I do love quaint furniture, you know.

Hello sir, would you like a nice, warm cup of tea?

A cup of tea sounds lovely, thank you! You're the Princess Sara, right?

Yes, my name is Sara Crewe...plain Sara would be just fine. Being princess is a game that I like to play... *smiles shyly*

*pours tea, and takes dainty sips*

*smiles and sips his tea* Can I still call you Princess?

I've no furniture for sale either.

Here you are. *grins*

Do you know where to find a double bed?

No I don't! I did see a lovely one at an inn once, though. Gorgeous fourposter with chintz roses!

*nods* Hello, Mr. Wren. No mahogany table, at least not that I'm aware of, but there's always the plotholes for pulling things from, should you be otherwise unable to locate such a thing...

Typist: ...................hello. I love you. Majour fangrilling going on here. Wow. CHRISTOPHER WREN.

Plothole? Well that sounds like fun! I'll have to check that. Nice to meet you... um... sorry I didn't catch your name.

(Typist: Haha, I have fangirls! How exciting!)

Ah, my apologies - I'm called, er, Aziraphale. *puts out a hand for shaking, with a slightly tinnily bright smile*

*raises eyebrows* And where did you spring from?

Reply

christopherwren July 9 2005, 23:25:33 UTC
Spring from? Well, England. All over England really. Or do you mean what book am I in?

I figured the England bit, yes.

I ask merely because my typist is brandishing a file folder, and she's going to put someone's eye out.

Well, wouldn't put someone's eye out! That sounds uncomfortable.

I'm in The Mousetrap and other Plays by Agatha Christie. Specifically in The Mousetrap but there are three other very lovely plays in that book and I didn't want to leave them out! I hope I've helped with your typist.
