It's really been a while since...

... since we saw the Merlin. Or, alternatively, since Merlin saw anyone.  His two housemates have been more social than himself, lately, and he's feeling the uncanny desire to see people, meet new people.

So here's a wizard, smoking a pipe in the chill autumn air, looking at the yellow leaves in the trees and the humid, dying grass on the ground.

Jaenelle is not sure if she's still welcome. They have had some rough patches, and relationships in general have not been feeling so secure lately. She sits next to him, though, probably just on the porch with her legs dangling over the ground, half watching him through eyes that are quite a regular blue.

"Of course - my friends have been caught in that." She flushes, a little. "I have - befriended a few of the elves."

He nods. "I have been -- required to act to behalf of the Lady on occasion."

"She perhaps most of all," a little embarrassed, here, "If I may claim so."

[myrddin_wyllt]

He nods, quietly. "It is unsurprising."

She looks embarrassed, and glances down. "...well. I don't know how much you know of their - troubles."

[myrddin_wyllt]

"I know enough, but speak, if you would," he says, gently.

She sighs. "What - have you heard?"

[myrddin_wyllt]

"I saw that the Demon entered the Golden Lady's mind, and nigh destroyed her."

Jaenelle winces. "...thank the Darkness he hasn't - been here since then. But the fire, as well-"

[myrddin_wyllt]

"That," Merlin says, quietly, "I know nothing of."

[ebonyjaenelle72]

She swivels her head around to look at him, frowns. "--nothing?"

[myrddin_wyllt]

"Nothing. I felt nothing that related to the Dark Lord, and had no knowledge of it until the embers were growing cold. It was man made, and from one who is not of my homeworld. Whoever did this escapes my sight, as many do."

"They were after the elves, though, it seems. Which narrows it down to some degree."

[myrddin_wyllt]

"Is that so? As I have told you, I was quite uninvolved. They would have a mortal ennemy, then."

Slow tagging, but keep?

She nods, just a little. "They have. And a determined one, I think."

Aight.
