Crackplot!

From Khary that isn't intentional.

Khary has been keeping a still, wanting the supply of drink, just in case. Fortunately, it wasn't the more potent one that exploded. He's not entirely sure what happened, but there is definitely alcoholic, half-magic vapor floating around, just waiting to be inhaled. He's doing his best to contain it, but hey, at ( Read more... )

Edgar isn't entirely sure why he feels intoxicated--he hasn't been properly drunk since he was a boy, but the sensation is much akin to it, and (under the pleasant giddiness) he isn't sure he likes it at all. A walk in the garden would clear his head, he thinks; therefore he'll be walking a little gravel path between great bursts of pansies, swaying only a little, thumbs hooked in his pockets.

Typist: ... er, could a kind Khary-type delete that anonymous comment?

He might come across a Republican Frenchman, coming from the opposite direction, smiling kind of ridiculously at himself. He'll give a very friendly nod to Edgar on his way.

"Lovely afternoon, non?"

*points down* We have a Tristan, now, by the way. Just thought Palomides would like to know. ^___^ He's from Beroul.

"Lovely," he answers, without hesitation. "There were never such flowers at home, not even in the best-appointed houses--" and he stumbles over 'appointed' a little, but grins. "My name is Edgar Huntly, sir. What is yours?"

We are ashamed to say that my Palomides knows your Tristan about as much as your Tristan knows my Palomides. Namely, if I remember my Beroul correctly, they have never met. Am I remembering right?

"Pascal," he grins, and mumbles, "Pascal Rougon, Monsieur Humbly. Sorry, Huntly. The variety is astounding," he agrees. "Very much so."

You are correct, in Beroul, they never meet, I thought maybe Palomides had met Tristan, though.

By the way, Gwen died. It was fun. Especially for Kay.

Iphigenia has been tipsy before, and liked it, and the sensation she's currently experiencing is akin to that, and she's also enjoying it. She's currently lounging on a sofa in the common room, smiling to herself. Anyone is free to interrupt the princess' reverie.

Here comes an Elurin VERY DEFINITELY TIPSY, but he has no idea what this feeling is, as he's never drunk a thing before. He's going to flop by Iphigenia and put an arm around her nonchalant.

"Hmmmmyou'rebeautiful." And he kisses her on the lips in greeting.

Oh and she kisses back gladly! "Thank you!" she says in reply, grinning.

"You're welcome." He grins, and tugs her into his lap. "What are you doing?"

Paulinka definitely feels drunk, and she can be found wandering about outside, as it's nice out. She's enjoying herself very much!

It.... has to be because it's spring. And because his housemates are both mooning over women. And he hasn't seen Repetitus in a year. And he misses his wife. And he wants to know where that wonderful witch Nimue went.

He looks like he's in his young thirties, an energetic, pleasant looking intellectual or scholar, and he's sitting about on the porch, probably taking a break from the doom and gloom in his hut. People there aren't very happy right now.

She happens to be walking past. "Hello, sir!" she waves jovially, laughing a little. "Look at this wonderful weather!"

"It is quite pleasant, is it not?" He replies with a distracted, pleasant smile.

Dionysos approves heartily of this crackplot. He will just be lounging over here on a deck chair, naked but for a fawnskin loincloth, materializing magical/alcoholic beverages from the vapor for his own amusement. Others are welcome to join him for a chat, a drink, or anything else mutually enjoyable. They are more welcome if they've got cocktail umbrellas.

This guy isn't exactly tipsy - he needs a gravedigger for that - from the still that didn't explode. But he's still going to be offering a cocktail umbrella (he's been conveniently mixing drinks in his room for a while, now), and a genial grin.

"Well, My Lord. I didn't know you were around."

Because Puck and Pan are assimilated in some of the folklore, we've been going with it. Feel free to have him be known or unknown to Dio, at your convenience. Also, long time no see! ^__^

.... and please forgive my HTML fail.

"It's summer, and the vines are twining around the trees as though they're ready to get better acquainted--where else would I be, but here in summer?" He laughs and stands from his chair, offering an embrace.

Probably recognize him juuuust a little, if that's all right. Like that guy you used to attend elementary school with, whose name you can almost remember. ^__^ And glad to be back. Oof, grad school is mad.

Robin goes into it - giving a hot naked God of partying a hug? Anytime! He'll even pat him on the shoulder. "Ah, but you make any place less dreary for the wear," he replies with a grin. "Do we have you to thank for this? It is a quite pleasant change indeed!"

Works wonderfully, especially considering that Robin doesn't walk around in his Pan get-up (he keeps on telling people it was a costume, he's so vain). And yeah, I sympathize. Been there too, and going on again soon.

Childermass knows he's enchanted, but that doesn't mean he can shake off the effects. He's scowling a bit, debating whether to go ahead and just get drunk in earnest, since he's intoxicated anyway. Of course, it makes an interesting picture, the tall, craggy man almost glaring at an unopened bottle of wine he found god knows where, now sitting on the counter.

Jewel is, as evidenced by the lack of documentation, pretty much consistently anti-social. But when she comes to the kitchen she isn't wearing her usual neatly buttoned German clothes, the ones from Mr. Stein. She's wearing the quiet native finery that belonged to her first home and her life with Jim, her dark hair draped with glinting stones. In a way it makes her almost warlike--in the way she holds her body and arches her neck, it is possible to see the woman who designated herself Jim's second-in-command and who he called more bloodthirsty than any of the men soldiers.

She glances at Childermass, resting her hand on the counter.

He gives her a sidelong look. "Bloody house," he comments, under his breath. Though his glance might be a bit warmer, in several senses, than is usual with him.

"Is this because of the house?" Oh, look, a year here has improved her English dramatically.
