Crackplot!

From Khary that isn't intentional.

Khary has been keeping a still, wanting the supply of drink, just in case. Fortunately, it wasn't the more potent one that exploded. He's not entirely sure what happened, but there is definitely alcoholic, half-magic vapor floating around, just waiting to be inhaled. He's doing his best to contain it, but hey, at ( Read more... )

Paulinka definitely feels drunk, and she can be found wandering about outside, as it's nice out. She's enjoying herself very much!

It.... has to be because it's spring. And because his housemates are both mooning over women. And he hasn't seen Repetitus in a year. And he misses his wife. And he wants to know where that wonderful witch Nimue went.

He looks like he's in his young thirties, an energetic, pleasant looking intellectual or scholar, and he's sitting about on the porch, probably taking a break from the doom and gloom in his hut. People there aren't very happy right now.

She happens to be walking past. "Hello, sir!" she waves jovially, laughing a little. "Look at this wonderful weather!"

"It is quite pleasant, is it not?" He replies with a distracted, pleasant smile.

"Mhmm!" she nods. "And I feel lovely today!" She spins around a few times, laughing.

Merlin laughs a bit, amused by this clearly drunk young woman. "You look at as well, I must say," he says, a bit sweet on the outside.

Don't ask.

"Why thank you!" she says, stopping her spinning for a moment. "And what is your name, by the way? I am Paulinka." No need for last names when you're drunk, apparently.

“My name?” He grins, and strides over, his hands in his pockets - his clothes might look tattered, but they are both clean and timeless. “What is a name, if but another prison, lovely? Call me what you like. I’ve no demands in that respect.”

Merlin has gotten recognized one time too many. He has no interest in being asked about his pointy hat (which he never wore, thank you Broadway), or in becoming a possible cantrip attraction.

"You're a man of riddles, I see," she replies, laughing musically. "Well, I'll just have to call you sir, out of respect," she says, and curtsies exaggeratedly.

"Ah, no, just a man of little interest in names. Please, not sir," he says with gusto. "If you must inflict that dreadful thing on me - call me Ambrose, then."

"Ambrose it is, then!" she says, nodding with a hand flourish--very theatrical.

The cynical wizard's face rewards that with a chuckle. "Are you ever this lively, or is that a temporary state, pray tell?"

"I am whatever you want me to be, Ambrose," she replies with a bow, almost tripping over her own feet.

"Whatever I want you to be?" He looks at her, hesitating, a moment.

It's been a long, long time.

She looks back up and grins at him. "Certainly."

"A generous offer, for merely a stranger," Merlin says, quietly, but he takes a step her way, and extends a hand. "Would you walk with me, then, Paulinka?"
