Not really. Frozen in the doorway, staring at them, horrified, mouth shaping the word "no" - they can't really be there. He's seeing things. He's mad, he must be mad, they're not there...

And those two little ones are completely oblivious, until a little bird comes to rest on Elured's shoulder, and draws his attention.
They don`t really recognize him, but they are in general uneasy around big elven males.
Elurin mutters. "Hello." In Sindarin.

"...hello." His voice is quiet, with a slightly rough edge. This is not not a happy Tyelko.

One of them asks, "Who are you?" They don't remember him clearly - maybe he is a friend, maybe he is a foe.

But basically, they just hug each other and stare, until one of the small beasts mutters something to them. They don't stop holding onto each other, but they do manage to say.
"Hello, there." In unison, and in Sindarin.

He's been successfully avoiding everyone for a while, but just going out on the porch...he knows those kids. Except how they're definitely dead.
