Well, have an awkward, Huan. Because Tyelko is going to open the front door and blinkstare at the awesomepuppy who was last he checked a) dead and b) like everyone else, not really a fan.

Still not really a fan, we're afraid. Huan rises to his feet, impassive -- not growling this time, which may be a plus, but not at all friendly.

He stays where he is, then, not getting any closer, just kind of staring at him.

This is another awkward situation where etiquette doesn't help. It also doesn't help that Tyelko is a bit lost right now, having realized that apparently the entire driving purpose of his life didn't work after all.

That's a crappy realization. So's the one where your bestest friend suddenly turns into an evil usurping kidnapping cousinslayer. :D So he turns tail on the evil usurping kidnapping cousinslayer -- again -- and starts towards the stairs.

Well, this should be fun.

Firekeeper, currently furry, comes padding out of the woods, looking a great deal smaller than the wolves Huan may be used to, tongue lolling out of her mouth as she pads across the lawn. And then stops, hackles rising a little. One of those dogs.

Oh dear. He stands, and may be a great deal larger than the dogs she's used to, and she isn't having much luck with oversized canines lately, is she? He's poised, ready to spring, but being a smart puppy, something holds him back. Something a little different about this wolf, and that's curious.

Oh dear. He's big.

And she's still sore from the last oversized canine she met. She drops her tail and whines, sheepishly. Sometimes one has to be smart rather than proud.

He pads towards her, sniffs curiously. She doesn't smell evil, or like a normal wolf. What are you?

Here's one Elf Huan may be a bit happier to see.

Galadriel will be sitting on the stairs of the Mansion, and her lips will bloom into a very wide smile when she sees the Hound.

He is! He barks excitedly in greeting and trots towards her. There are totally scritches here.

Totally. She opens her arms to the hound, grinning. "Huan, you have come. Not a better moment to be here!"

And he's getting a healthy dose of scritching.

Huan looks smug. It's always a good time for him to be anywhere. Especially where there are scritches involved. ^__^

Celebrimbor is on his way outside, because nothing is going to keep him from one of the few things that helps him be kind of sane, and nearly stumbles over the dog. He's confused until he actually takes a look, and realizes who it is. That would be an actual real grin on his face. "Huan!" He drops to his knees beside him to give him hugs and scritches, because having Huans is good.

Huan would be grinning too, if he had the right mouth for it. Instead, Cele's just getting puppysnuggles and his face licked.

You did! Because awesomepuppies are completely and unreservedly good to have around. He's even laughing as he hugs and scritches and gets licked.

And awesomepuppies are big fans of -- honourary nephew sort-of things? Something like that. Eventually, the greeting subsides. The puppyeyes convey: so tell me how you've been.

Finrod, returning to the mansion, reflexively tenses slightly when he sees the large canine on the porch, but he quickly realizes that it isn't a wolf he's seeing. He's quite surprised to recognize just who it is but he smiles and goes over a bit more quickly. By which yes, we do mean give him scritches.

Huan doesn't look surprised to see Finrod, so either he's omniscient or just doesn't let dead people faze him. He does look very happy, and the scritchings may actually be difficult, since this puppy is more interested in licking his hands than being petted by them.

He laughs and sits beside the dog, petting and scritching as best he can anyway. "It's good to see you too, Huan."
