~Boy problems

Martha is sitting somewhere, at a table, her notebook open to a blank page, her pencil poised to write or draw something. She wants to perhaps sketch that tree outside, even if she isn't very good at it. She tries scrawling out a leaf, but sighs, clearly distracted by something else ( Read more... )

Oh hey, a German Karla hasn't had a chance to scare yet! This is good.

Karla is just passing through when she catches that peculiar psychic scent specific to Germans. "Hey," she says with a wave and maybe a sort of grin. "I haven't met you, have I?"

Martha looks up, startled, accidentally breaking the tip of her pencil. "Erm, n-no, I don't think so?"

Karla frowns at the broken pencil and it fixes itself, if Martha's typist doesn't mind. "You're German, right? That means I should. I think I know the rest of you." She plops down on a chair and offers a hand. "I'm Karla."

Martha's typist appreciates the gesture, as does Martha herself. She blinks at the pencil and looks up at her curiously. She's heard of people who do things like that, so it doesn't really surprise her.

"Martha," she introduces herself, shaking her hand quickly.
