Robert doesn't much care for Sunday Mass. It's boring and his knees always hurt afterwards from all the kneeling, but his parents always insist that's good for him so Robert goes willingly. His parents can't be wrong can they?
Anyway, he is on his knees, praying like a good boy and when he opens his again he is shocked to find entirely different

To be perfectly honest, Wendla is a little wary about another old friend coming to join them, considering how all the rest of them have turned out. But, ever the optimist, she looks down at him kneeling with a smile.
"What are you doing on the floor?"

"Mother and Father said..." but the girl before him certainly doesn't look dead. "I'm sorry, I guess I'm just confused. I thought I was in church! And then, suddenly, here I am!"

"Otto!" he grins, "Otto, where are we? I thought that I was praying in the church but now I'm here and it's all very confusing!"

Kay is, while not exactly patrolling, making a more systematic exploration of the Mansion, and has thus seen a good number of odd things. But Robert might need help, so he says gruffly, "You hurt, boy?"

"Ernst!" he exclaims, scrambling to his feet and grabbing Ernst by the shoulders, "Ernst, what is going on here? I swear I was in church just moments before! But, now..."
