It takes Jaenelle only a moment to find him, and she drops to her knees and sets one hand on his forehead, frowns severely, and then tries to push him back to a lying down position. "Hush. Hold still for a moment and then I'll see if I can remember."

"No, I have to find Cee," he says insistently, struggling back up to sit again. "I have to."

Jaenelle's frown deepens. "Stubborn males," she mutters, and increases the push a bit. "You're sick. It'll only take me a moment to put you right."

Luther is out with his goats--he stops, when hailed, and moves over in his slow, earthlike way. Like a stone in the sun, from his potato-brown skin to his easy, solid manner. He holds out a hand without speaking, offering it as a support.

"Well, she may or may not be here. Where've you just come from?"

"Dunkirk, in France. We were evacuating, I was waiting for a ship to take me home to London."

Susan, who had been strolling past with her nose in a book, looks at him, startled. "N-no, er... no, I'm awfully sorry! Do you need help...?" she fumbles for her wand.

[Callie pauses passing by. Her own recent experiences make it impossible to ignore a person apparently in distress.]

Hey, are you okay?
