Dairine is sitting on a chair out on the porch typing away with a fury at her computer, which has been neatly removed from the pocket of space ordinarily reserved for it. The spell is very complicated, and very intricate, and has several parts--Dairine is just finishing up with part three, and hitting the enter key, when she suddenly yells, "SHOOT ( Read more... )

Speaking of whom, in fact-- way to run down your sister, Dairine. "Watch it, runt, where's the fire?"

Morgause is in her room, at the front of the Mansion, and possibly she's brooding on her offspring in general; but the spell settles at a particular moment-- and the resultant scowl does not look at all out of place.

About the moment, as it happens, that Sagramore is hoping to come in a talk for a while, as it might perhaps make him a little less bothered about the lack of Mordred. He knocks on the door, as always, before entering.

Her breath hisses in through her teeth. She sits down, deliberately, in the nearest chair.

At least this one got the clothes too.

Molly had been thinking of Tom, actually, but as luck would have it, thoughts of Tom led to thoughts of Mr. Carstone. He had, of course, helped when she was ill. Perhaps she owed him a slip of an apology, for the sake of that. But as she was turning this idea over, she wandered through the main room.

"Oh, really," she says, half aggravated... and half amused. (Richard will, presumably, be less so, when he registers the change.)

Clarion, by and large, has avoided crackplots throughout his DF career, but it had to catch up with him sooner or later. A startled "I say--" issues from a nearby sitting room, followed by a bewildered "Oh dear", and anyone who looks in will find a strapping six-foot young man in workman's clothes, sprawled in a chair with his face in his hands, chuckling.

Mickle pokes her head around the doorway. "Liberation?" laying a disbelieving stress on the third syllable.

He lifts his head. "That was more or less what I said myself," in Clarion's genial, slightly affected tones, with a rueful smile. "I was thinking that I hadn't seen him in some time, but I hardly expected to do so in the mirror."

"Oh, it's you!" She pounces. "I didn't think it could be him."
