Clarion, by and large, has avoided crackplots throughout his DF career, but it had to catch up with him sooner or later. A startled "I say--" issues from a nearby sitting room, followed by a bewildered "Oh dear", and anyone who looks in will find a strapping six-foot young man in workman's clothes, sprawled in a chair with his face in his hands, chuckling.
