A Party!

To celebrate the marriage of David Talbot and Nicolas de Lenfent, there is a small informal gathering in the tower. The happy couple are both inside with young Lilli (who has been allowed to stay up late, just this once). They would welcome friends old and new to share a drink in celebration.

Nicki smiles broadly, feeling happier than he thought possible, "Thank you, Marius."

Jareth, is happens, is at the mansion this evening, and goes to give his well-wishes to the happy couple, knocking at the tower door.

He is, of course, not without wedding gifts.

For David, two previously stolen Mesopotamian texts that he's 'liberated' from a now-dead thief.

For Nicolas, a working glass violin.

David comes to the door wearing a wide and happy smile, beaming from ear to ear.

"Jareth! Come in, do come in!" He gestures out before him. "Can I get you anything at all?"

He sees the gifts in Jareth's hands, "I do hope you've not been wasting money on us! There's no need."

Armand knocks, hoping that they're having the party here and not the Mansion ballroom.

David answers the door, smiling at Armand.

"Ah, Armand, good to see you, please, come join us."

"I heard you were celebrating." Whether David likes it or not, Armand is going to try to hug him. He likes David, and he likes weddings.

Jaenelle out of nowhere!

"CONGRATULATIONS!" She squees gleefully, and will promptly throw her arms around whoever is nearest, be it David, Nicolas, or Lilli.

Jaenelle lives vicariously through other people's happiness? No way.

It's David who has the pleasure of her attack hug, and he laughs warmly. "Jaenelle, thank you my dear." He smiles and gives her a gentle squeeze. "It's good to see you."

She beams and gives him a kiss on the cheek. "You're welcome, of course. Everything went well?" She laughs. "I'm so happy for you!"

Kvothe comes, of course, to both congratulate his friend and meet Nikki properly when he's not temporarily a child.

David smiles when he sees him and offers out his hand to shake.

"Kvothe, good evening, good to see you!"
