The young man stumbles in, bleeding and bruised. He looks at his surroundings a minute -- they're decidedly not what he had left. For one thing, there's less men trying to kill him, it's quite a lot brighter, and he wasn't in this much pain a few minutes ago. He has got a ring on his finger, though he's in no condition to register it at the ( Read more... )

Liir is coming by, thinking to himself about talking to his mo-- Elphaba, to try and make things right with her. He pauses at the sight of the man on the couch, takes a few steps forward cautiously to ask if he needs any help (he certainly looks like he does), then pauses again. He's never actually seen this man before, not in person anyway, but there's almost no question in his mind who it could be.

"Would you like some help?" he asks, hoping he was loud enough to be heard.

"Hmm?" Fiyero opens his eyes and gives the other young man a bleary blink. "Oh. Yes, I'm bleeding, aren't I?" He manages a small smile. "I'd almost forgotten."

Liir tries a small smile, but his head isn't working right now.

"I can go get some -- some towels to help clean you up, and I can find some bandages or something?"

Because even if he isn't /his/ father, and assuming he's right when he thinks it's Fiyero, then it is still Nor's father. And that's enough to make him want to help.

"That'd be good, I think." He sits up straighter with a bit of a wince. "I'd help, but I'm not entirely sure I can manage moving."

He offers Liir another shy smile. "Ah, I'm Fiyero, incidentally."

Elphaba's coming by with a Christopher in her arms. "There you are," she says impatiently. "-- What sort of trouble have you gotten yourself into now?" She'd be a lot more patient if she wasn't in such a bad mood.

Well, that voice sounds familiar. So he sits up, brushing the hair out of his eyes. "Fae? Are you alright? They didn't find you, did they?"

"Who didn't? What are you talking about?" She reaches over to wipe off a streak of blood from his cheek. "What happened to you?"

"The -- the Gale Force." At least, that's who he assumes they were. "The Gale Force happened." He glances up at her. "But you're alright, that's good."

Avaric's been sitting there, elegantly, actually reading a book for lack of something better to do. His nose crinkles a bit at the blood and the bruising.

"Are you dying?" he asks, not doing a good job at masking his disgust. It is safe to say that he doesn't recognize Fiyero yet.

"I'm not entirely sure on that point." Fiyero sits up straighter, wincing, and glances over.

"Avaric?" Well, Avaric, the blue diamonds peeking through his ripped shirt should be a pretty good giveaway.

Well, to be honest, Avaric wasn't paying too much attention until his name was mentioned. He looks the other man over once, then raises an eyebrow.

"Fiyero." No questioning needed here - how many blue diamonded men know him? "Well, don't you look -- A sight for sore eyes."

"I'm sure I look like I feel," he says, a little wryly. "Which isn't all that wonderful."

He'd get up, if he could move, but as it is he just leans forward in his chair. "Where are we?"

"Fiyero?"

It's safe to say Glinda's pretty surprised to see him.

He jumps a little and glances over at her, eyes widening. Fiyero's apparently just as surprised as Glinda, he hasn't seen her since Shiz.

"Glinda? What's going on?"

"I'm afraid I still haven't figured that out, and I've been here for ages."

Kote looks surprised when he sees the man stumble in, bleeding, and immediately sets down his book and goes over. "Are you alright? What happened?" he asks, assessing the injuries as best he can from a distance. Should help be required (or wanted) he does have a fair bit of medical training.

"I'm -- fairly certain I was going to be dead in a few minutes." He opens his eyes and tilts his head at the other man, watching him curiously. "It's a bit of a long story."

"I'm sure it is, but I'm equally sure that it can wait until you're no longer bleeding. Would you like a hand with that?"

"I, ah --" Fiyero moves to sit up and winces, but covers it with a smile. "I think so. Considering I can't move all that well."
