BOOM.

Anyone looking for Lucivar will find him outside this evening, looking vaguely distracted and probably with Aaron and Khardeen somewhere nearby, and perhaps a few other First Circle males as well. People sensitive to these kind of things might sense a large amount of magic being gathered. And rather suddenly, sometime after dinner, there very ( Read more... )

Hagbard has not quite had the idea to confront anyone about his situation as a Deep One/Human Hybrid, simply because he's been considering ways to use it to his advantage. This is one of those times; his particular position in the mansion combined with his peculiar shape caused the explosion to send him flying, unharmed, out of the exploding mansion. An uncharacteristic yelp may have been heard as he reached the top of the arc, followed by a surprisingly loud and almost gurgling squeal of eldritch excitement, and a splash into the lake. After a moment during which he realizes the gill-flaps aren't quite gills, he surfaces and looks around through unblinking eyes. After a moment, he decides something must be said, and so he shouts:

"The Mansion sunk H.C.!"

A lone elf (yes, lone) stands atop a pile of rubble, red hair obscured by the grey dust, hands and arms already bruised and scraped from frantic searching. There is a wild look in his eyes and near panic in his voice.

"AMBARUSSA! AMBARUSSA!"

The missing twin does not answer.

When he's sure Etienne and Chris are safe, Armand goes to help his adopted brother. "Where did you last see him?" he asks the distraught twin.

"Before...well, before." He waves a hand around to indicate the wreckage. "I can't find him." He's trying to maintain his composure in front of his littlest brother, but it's probably not working very well.

"I'll help you look..." Armand kneels in the rubble, and starts digging. Rather randomly, I'm afraid.

"...ow..."

There's a ten-year-old girl flat on her back in the rubble, with three aggravated bats fluttering around her. She's not in a lot of pain, but she's not sure she wants to try sitting up just yet, just in case.

And the world fell apart. Again.

This here? This is one traumatized doggie. Well, human now.

He is seated in the rubble, curled into a ball. He is rocking back and forth, frantically clawing at his head. His mouth moves, but no sounds come out. And he is foaming, but only a little bit.

The road, the man, the noise, the blood! The world fell apart and it would keep falling apart, it would never stop, never, it would happen again and again and again and again...

And there is a Firecat in human form right beside him, trying to soothe him. "Shh, dog. It will be okay. Are you hurt?"

Snitter practically leaps to cling on to Altra.

"I'm sorry! I'msorry,I'msorry,I'msorry! I didn't mean it to happen! I'm sorry!"

"No one said it was your fault," Altra scolds lightly. "Come over here where it's quieter."
