Anyone looking for Lucivar will find him outside this evening, looking vaguely distracted and probably with Aaron and Khardeen somewhere nearby, and perhaps a few other First Circle males as well. People sensitive to these kind of things might sense a large amount of magic being gathered. And rather suddenly, sometime after dinner, there very ( Read more... )

A lone elf (yes, lone) stands atop a pile of rubble, red hair obscured by the grey dust, hands and arms already bruised and scraped from frantic searching. There is a wild look in his eyes and near panic in his voice.

"AMBARUSSA! AMBARUSSA!"

The missing twin does not answer.

When he's sure Etienne and Chris are safe, Armand goes to help his adopted brother. "Where did you last see him?" he asks the distraught twin.

"Before...well, before." He waves a hand around to indicate the wreckage. "I can't find him." He's trying to maintain his composure in front of his littlest brother, but it's probably not working very well.

"I'll help you look..." Armand kneels in the rubble, and starts digging. Rather randomly, I'm afraid.

"Thank you," he says, gratitude in his eyes. Ambarussa's efforts have been rather random as well, unfortunately, he was knocked out briefly by the blast and can't begin to guess where his twin might be other than hopefully close by, they were together when the blast happened. At the moment, any help is good help.

They might feel Jaenelle's anger pounding against the still standing walls before they see her, appearing beside him, her eyes blazing dangerously.

"Give me a thought of him," she says in a voice that is half mind voice and half out loud. Anyone looking at her might notice a certain fuzziness to her features, almost as if she's on the verge of shedding the mask. "I will find him for you."

He's startled enough by the oddity of the voice and the way she looks that her words do not immediately register. A confused jumble of images tumbles through his mind, memories of himself and his twin that she might pick up on, before he realizes what she said and tries to suppress the thoughts in case she can see into his mind. He is startled, and confused and afraid for his brother's sake, not the most condusive for clear thinking.

It takes just a flick of power and a moment's memory to pick up where he is, and the she vanishes. A moment later, the rubble lurches sideways and Jaenelle appears again, her face nearly terrifyingly still, holding the twin carefully, her eyes very, very cold.

Ambarussa immediately dashes forward to grab his brother. Despite the poorly concealed panic, his hands are rock steady as he carefully checks his twin's heartbeat, breathing, head. When one has gone through a few centuries of war one learns to manage these things even when it's close family. Once he's convinced that his twin isn't in immediate danger of dying in his arms he looks up at Jaenelle with deep gratitude in his eyes before he starts bandaging his twin with whatever cloth comes to hand, possibly whatever he's wearing.
