Though he has cleaned up the blood, Richard is still not wearing a jacket, sleeves rolled up to the elbows. He looks pale, tired, and a bit haunted. He's looking for Curio, Ganymede, and/or Tom, roughly in that order, but is free to be accosted by anyone else who should come across him. He's had a long night.

Ganymede is in his room still, should Richard come looking that far.

"I do trust that you're right."

[dukes_daughter]

A smile (a small one, for Rosalind knows she is as worthy of trust in this as in anything-- her head is spinning and it takes all her will not to cough).

"I'll bring you some more soup in a bit," he says.

[dukes_daughter]

"I thank you, sir, though in truth I am not much hungered."

[jarndyceheir]

"It will be good to keep your strength up, until you're totally well."

[dukes_daughter]

"Ay, sir, an it please you."

[jarndyceheir]

"It does."

[dukes_daughter]

"Than I shall. Now go you, and perchance rest."

[jarndyceheir]

He sighs. "Very well. I shall. I'm sorry for coming and worrying you."

[dukes_daughter]

"Nay, sir! And stay, should it please you. I am glad of your company."

[jarndyceheir]

He smiles. "And I of yours. But I should tell Mr Jones, and Curio, if I can find them. They would want to know."

[dukes_daughter]

He nods and coughs once, twice. "Go well, sir."

[jarndyceheir]

"Yes. Rest."

[dukes_daughter]

He nods. After a moment, he coughs again, this time twice, thrice-- a fit of coughing that has him doubled over, cheeks scarlet. Hopefully, Richard has already gone.

He has, but would feel so guilty otherwise.
