We demand cute

Freyja is a big fan of the cute. She likes flowers, fluffy bunnies, and children. But turning people into flowers is more of a Greek thing, and if you turn people into fluffy bunnies you are ultimately left with more fluffy bunnies than anyone could want. And while Freyja is a staunch supporter of making children it takes so long before they ( Read more... )

Because her typist rejoices in crackplotting Firekeeper, she is now approximately three, and looks even more like a wolf than before, down to the growling and wriggling. She does not, currently, remember that she is human. She'll probably chew on the first person's toes to walk by, because that's just what puppies do.

Mabon likes having his toes chewed on by wolf pups, or at least this wolf pup. He crouches down in front of her and looks at her eyes.

Firekeeper growls at him very fiercely and will pounce at his toes, and then at him, her sort-of tail wagging frantically. Packpackpack, she yelps in the rather limited vocabulary of the very young.

He immediately rolls her over and rubs her belly, scritchyscritchy. Hello, pack.

Bertie is eight. He is one of those skinny little boys that seem to be entirely made up of knees and feet and bone. He is still dressed in black (his parents having died not long ago) and now he stands in the main room, confused. "Hullo?"

Lynette's eyes widen. "Ser Wooster?"

"Bertram Wilberforce. Who're you? ...Miss."

"I'm Lynette," she says, still trying to work this out. "You're little."

In a moment, where there was once a very menacing Warlord Prince practicing with Eyrien sticks in the yard, there is now a ten year old Eyrien boy fluttering around and laughing as he chases after butterflies. Yes, Lucivar just got kiddified. And boy will he be pissed when this wears off.

Gabrielle spots him playing and promptly melts at the excess of cute. She sees the resemblance to his older self, but has never experianced this sort of thing before so she thinks that it can't be him... She enters the yard and watches him for a bit before calling over, because even though it isn't him (she thinks), she can't just let the young Eyrien stay there all alone, can she?

Yes, she does have an excess of maternal instinct since becoming pregnant.

"Hello, there!" She waves and grins as she steps forward. "Where did you come from?"

He turns around and flaps in a circle around her before landing and giving her a broad grin. "H'lo," he says cheerfully. "I was just right there. Who're you?" He bounces from foot to foot, because, being Lucivar, he has somewhat of an excess of energy. He just channels it differently.

She laughs and turns to watch him as he flies around her. "My name is Gabrielle, of Dea al Mon." She gives him a bright smile. "What's your name?"

Khary has adjusted very quickly to his sudden reduction in age, and is now crouched in the entry hall watching a mousehole intently, sure that he just saw something run in there. He was going to set a bucket of water over the door, but decided against it. For now.

Chaosti has almost walked completely passed the little boy by the mousehole before he stops, turns back, and takes a better look. The boy looks so much like Khardeen, but he's so young...

Khardeen gives up on the mousehole and gets up, turns around, and notes a rather familiar face staring at him peculiarly. "What?" he says. "I was just looking."

"What's your name," he asks, quiet and thoughtful. Perhaps the boy is a previously unknown relation of Khardeen's.

The child stands perfectly still, her hands clenched in her long skirts, staring at the unfamiliar room. After a moment, carefully, she turns to look around her.

Claire is unexpectedly six years old, and aside from being much closer to the ground and missing her two front teeth, she really isn't all that different. She's standing near Morgause when it hits her, staring at the other child with wide blue eyes and a petrified expression.

She stops, warily; perhaps nine herself, her dark hair pinned back from her face.

Claire starts to back up, eyeing Morgause fearfully, but she hits wall and is, alas, forced to stop. "...um, hi," she says in a timid, quiet voice. "Um, where'm I?"
