Khary has adjusted very quickly to his sudden reduction in age, and is now crouched in the entry hall watching a mousehole intently, sure that he just saw something run in there. He was going to set a bucket of water over the door, but decided against it. For now.

Chaosti has almost walked completely passed the little boy by the mousehole before he stops, turns back, and takes a better look. The boy looks so much like Khardeen, but he's so young...

Khardeen gives up on the mousehole and gets up, turns around, and notes a rather familiar face staring at him peculiarly. "What?" he says. "I was just looking."

"What's your name," he asks, quiet and thoughtful. Perhaps the boy is a previously unknown relation of Khardeen's.

"Khardeen," he says, examining Chaosti. Then, after a moment, he adds, "I like your hair."

"....Thanks?" What exactly does one do when confronted with a close friend who is some ten years younger than he's supposed to be? In this case, call on a thread darker than the young Warlord can hear. *...Jaenelle? We have a problem.*

*Chaosti? Is Gabrielle all right?* She comes in a moment later, and is momentarily puzzled, but then she recognizes the small boy who has now turned around to face her with a familiar grin. She puts her hand to her mouth to hide a giggle. "What in Hell's name is going on here?" She asks Chaosti sternly, trying to keep a straight face. She's not worried. At least, not yet.

*Gabrielle is fine, it's not that.* He just looks at her in confusion and shrugs. "I have no idea, Jaenelle." He looks back at Khary, trying not to stare but this is just so very, very strange.

Khary seems to sense that something is wrong. "What?" he demands, looking from Jaenelle to Chaosti and back. "I didn't do anything!" For once.

"Ehm," Jaenelle says in a slightly strangled voice. "Do you think anyone would mind very much if I switch him back?"

"They better not," Chaosti says darkly. He'd probably have Words with anyone who did object.

Mouth twitching slightly, Jaenelle calls in her Jewels. It doesn't take too much to switch him back, and abruptly there is a grown up Khary standing there looking exceedingly bewildered. "What was that?"

"...You were a child," Chaosti informs him. "Janelle changed you back." He eyes Khary a little worriedly. "Are you alright?"

Khary scowls. "I was a what?" He shakes his head. "But I didn't eat or drink or do anything! How in Hell's name did anyone make me a kid again?"

"I don't know, I didn't find you until after." He'd love to know, though, even if just to keep it from happening to anyone else.
