It's a cold, damp evening at the Mansion, not long after sunset. It was raining earlier, and there's a heavy fog covering the grounds, which, in addition to making the place quite a bit wetter than usual, gives everything a rather mysterious, eerie look, even more than usual

You'll have to excuse Teddy for staring. It's been weird enough here so far without seeing his godfather being younger than him. "Harry?"

"I haven't seen her. I think the only ones I've seen that you'd know are -- my Gran, my Mum, and Dumbledore."

[phoenix_wand]

"And Godric Gryffindor, right," a little sarcastically, before he seems to realize something. "If Tonks, if your mum is here, shouldn't your dad-?"

"That's what I hear, but I haven't seen him yet."

Typist: Watch as I attempt to keep some semblance of a timeline intact.

[phoenix_wand]

Harry grins. "That's great, though!"

Typist: Timeline? What timeline? I have no idea where in it Harry should be. I think I'm ded of continuity.

He can't help grinning back. "It really is. It's kind of unreal."

[phoenix_wand]

"Tell me about it!" Harry agrees fervently. "So far* I've met my parents, who are only a little bit older than I am, some of my friends from my year, who are mostly the age I'd expect them to be, and my own kids. Who are definitely not how old I'd expect them to be, which is zero years old, thanks."

*timeline goes out the window here...but oh well.

"That's -- well. I think that's just how this place is. Your kids are great, though -- well, Albus and Lily are. James is a bit of a pain all of the time sometimes."

Harry looks startled. "Lily? I've only met Albus and James. There's a third?"
