[re-introducing Harry Potter]

Aug 20, 2007 21:24

It's a cold, damp evening at the Mansion, not long after sunset. It was raining earlier, and there's a heavy fog covering the grounds, which, in addition to making the place quite a bit wetter than usual, gives everything a rather mysterious, eerie look, even more than usual.

A shadowy figure, human-shaped and average-sized, can be seen walking across the misty lawn towards the Mansion, dragging something long and thin -- a weapon, maybe, it has rather that shape -- behind him. It's an ominous sight...

...until he gets under the porch lights, stumbling carefully up the steps to the Mansion's front door, and is revealed to be nothing more frightening than a slightly-built young man with black hair flattened down by rainwater, wearing a soaked t-shirt and pair of jeans and a pair of round glasses over bright green eyes. The thing he was dragging behind him, as it turns out, is no weapon at all, unless he plans to use it as a blunt instrument - it's nothing more than a broomstick.

He seems to be favouring his right ankle, and leans on the broomstick while knocking hesitantly on the door.

"Er, hello? Hello?" he calls out. "Is there someone here?"

Typist: Harry Potter, new typist, reset. You may have heard of him. I believe there's a series named for him or something, which have become slightly popular among some kids somewhere or something... Well, at any rate, Harry is taken post-DH!proper, but pre-epilogue, so he's just 18 and is only just recovering from all the Spoilery Events of Book 7.

...and on behalf of all the HP fans about to post our spoilerific intros right now: I apologize to the non-Rabbits (or are we Roaches?). You're about to get flooded.
