"Wood..," he says in greeting, looking him up and down doubtfully. "Tell me. How do you treat others here? Women in particular."

He looked a little taken aback, "Er -- I treat them just fine, I think. As nice as I can be, all that."

[dracoslytherin]

"You think? No oppression?"

It sounds important, even if it's signed by somebody who sounds very ostentatious. "I am ready... what's going on?"

[dracoslytherin]

Draco appears suddenly nearby. "Do I know you?"

Startled by Draco's appearance, he quickly replies, "No, I don't think so. I'm Professor Kirke."
He doesn't bother offering a hand. "What's this about safety?"

[dracoslytherin]

"This mansion can be very chaotic you know." He replies, looking him over with a suspicious air. "Professor? You're a teacher?"

*eyebrow* Now what?

*dryly* I am ready.

[dracoslytherin]

Looking a little surprised to see him, Draco greets him cordially, "Sir... How have you been?"

"Well enough." He gestures to the notice. "So?"

[dracoslytherin]

He manages to looks slightly ashamed and subdued at that, like a little boy gone a bit far out of his depth. "I am.. trying to find out where some people stand on certain gender issues."

[glacianbitch]

An eyebrow raise, but what can it hurt? "I am ready, I suppose."

Appearing before her abruptly, Draco rather rudely says, "You again... Hello."

Karla raises her eyebrows. "Some welcome," she says mildly. "Hello. Draco, right? What's this all about?"

[dracoslytherin]

"Oppression. Do you feel you're being unfairly treated here?"

Melisande is examining the note with a small smile, especially for the somewhat extravagant title at the bottom of the page. However, she settles down in a chair and says in a silky voice, "Whenever it pleases you, I am ready."

He eyes her warily. "Have we met?"

She gives him a slow smile, one with just a hint of cruelty in it. "No, I don't believe so," she says softly, and stands, giving him a polite little curtsy, but one that is very small. "Melisande Shahrizai."

[dracoslytherin]

"I'm Draco Malfoy." He doesn't like the way she smiled. "You remind me of my aunt..."
