Seeing an elf-woman lead a horse up toward the Mansion isn't a common sight. Armand jumps down from the railing on the porch and bows with a smile. "Welcome to the Mansion... madame." Age is hard to tell with elves, but something about her looks motherly so he defaults to the more respectful address.

She gives him a curious look, before double taking; it is hard to tell whether this is stranger than seeing her sons or not. No, he is certainly not an Elf... "...thank you," she says, wondering if she should be wary or not.

It certainly would never occur to him that she was completely unfamiliar with Men. In any case he's certainly not a threatening figure. He would seem stocky only compared to an Elf, and he's an the short side for an adult of any race. He does note that she seems distressed.
"Oh, my apologies, madame. Was it I who distressed you? I did not mean to do so."
