She does not know where she has come to, which is a strange thing in and of itself; she has wandered far in her many years, but now she has to doubt her feeling that she must have seen all of Valinor, at one point or another. She strokes her horse's neck and pulls back her hood, leading him up towards the mansion, wondering what sort of folk abide

"Ammë!" For this was just what wee Carnistir was hoping to find, since mothers make all things better, especially /his/ own.

"...Carinstir?" She barely is able to keep herself together, hearing his voice. Normally her dreams are not like this; she does not think it is strange to have her children again, but in this one it is: she remembers the long years when she did not have them.

"I missed you," he said muffled, face buried in her skirt. "Things are all wrong."

[redhairedwisdom]

Her fingers ghost over his hair, marveling at how real he feels. She cannot say that she missed him too, because she knows her voice will crack. "What is it that is wrong?"

[bastardelf]

"Everything," he wailed, clinging to her tightly.

[redhairedwisdom]

He is a little big for it, but she cannot bring herself to care- she picked him up, holding him close. "Shhh, now. Surely not everything is wrong; I am here, and you are with me."

[bastardelf]

He nestled against her, feeling a bit better. "But Tyelko's too little."

[redhairedwisdom]

"How so?" She started towards the house, the horse following quietly.

[bastardelf]

"He's littler then me and that's not right at all."

[redhairedwisdom]

"You are right; it is not. But I am sure we will straighten it out, eventually." Not that she knows how, but all that matters to her right now is that she has her son and he needs to be comforted.
