A Tragic Note

Harry hurries to the note. He hasn't seen Sirius very much here but that doesn't mean he's still not distressed by this news. He goes to try to find Armand.

"So you met my dad?"

[sweariwontdie]

"Sort of. I mostly heard them talking. I did speak to him very briefly to explain where... the body was." He shivers a bit and goes back to fussing with the tea things.

He frowns slightly, looking sad. "Last time there wasn't a body...," he says, almost to himself.

Armand pours the hot water into a pot so the tea will steep. "Why don't you sit down, Harry? I am a good listener. It sounds as if you lost your godfather before."

[theboywho_lived]

He nods. "Yeah... But I don't think I really want to talk about it," he winces slightly.

[sweariwontdie]

"Tell me about his life then?" Armand really is trying to help. "Were you very close?"

[theboywho_lived]

"Um.. Well, I only really knew him for a couple of years... and for most of that time he was on the run so I hardly even saw him."

[sweariwontdie]

"That's terribly sad." He pours the tea. "Is there anything I can do to help?"

He sighs. "I guess not." He picks up the teacup. "Thanks though."

[sweariwontdie]

"When he's alive again, I'd like to meet him. It seems he was killed trying to help that poor girl." Armand really admires that behavior.

[theboywho_lived]

"That'd be right.. He's very brave," he does smile a little at that.

[sweariwontdie]

"There are far too few heros in the world," Armand murmurs. "We should recognize and praise them all."

[theboywho_lived]

He looks worried at that and sips his tea.

'You're worthy of praise too, Mr. Harry Potter. You're a good man."

[theboywho_lived]

"Not really. I haven't done much. I've just been lucky."
