*Curio sees the mark rise and hover over the mansion as he walks the grounds--it fills him with an all-consuming dread, and yet he cannot say what it means, so when he makes it inside, he'll ask (half-tremulously)* Do any here know what the green mark means, in shape belike a serpent and a skull ...?

*and here's Laertes arching a quizzical eyebrow* --Nay. Whence does it come?

*curling against him, worried (and totally unable to deal with worry; not in his nature to be this worried--)* It rose up o'er the manse. From whence, or why, I cannot say. It chills me unto death--

Gringoire is walking back to his room when he, literally, stumbles across Richard. "What in the name of-What are you doing lying in the middle of the hallway? Other people pass through here." When he gets no response, he gives the body a closer look. "Holy Virgin!" he yelps. "You're dead! There's a dead body in the hall!"

*running through the halls, half-terrified because he's seen the Dark Mark outside--calling out before he reaches Gringoire* What's the danger--?

'Here!' Gringoire calls out. 'There's a dead man in the hall!'
