Spring is nearly here, and so Mary sees it fit to start putting her plan into motion.

"Are there any angels about? I would wish to speak with you."

Michael hears, in his quiet way; comes, with his leather apron still tied on, his expressionless eyes watching her.

This earns him a cold, speculative gaze from Mary. "Are you an angel?"

Headtilt. "Yes."

"Are you able to bless? And to heal?"

Let's have an entirely different breed of angel, shall we? A tall, pretty one with Asian features, carefully applied make-up and miniskirt-- and one that looks the vaguest bit male.

Uriel finger-waves a little, smiling. "Hi, darling. Is there any reason you're asking for one?"

"Yes," says Mary, eyeing her carefully. "I have a garden, you see, and Spring is nearly come. The plants will begin to show above the ground and it shall be splendid. I need an angel to bless the garden, so that it will never die."

"What a delightful idea!" Uriel exclaims brightly. "And isn't it a coincidence that I just happen to be an angel? However, sweetpea, it's His way for everything to die eventually, to make way for new life. Still..." she leans in a little, solemnly, "I can make it so that as long as someone loves this garden, it will never die."

"You...do not look like an angel."

Chances are, she's not looking for a Samarian angel, but have an Ariel anyway, Mary, this one female and entirely corporeal and dedicated to Jovah. "Yes?"

Mary studies her carefully. "I am seeking angels so that my garden might be blessed in the coming of Spring, and will never die."

"As it happens, miss, I am, ah, an angel."

Mary nods. "Oh, good. I could certainly do with more than one angel."

"What is it you need?" he asks politely.

"My garden to be blessed," she says with directness. "And my cousin Colin to be made well."
