Tas looks around excitedly, making sure that there aren't any angry wizards nearby. He isn't exactly sure where he is, but he doesn't expect to, since none of the rings that have ever "fallen" into his pouches have brought him to places that he has recognized. "Hello? Anyone home?"

"Yes, hello." Cimorene raises an eyebrow at him. "Where were you intending to be? I'm fairly sure not here."

"Oh, I don't know. Anywhere is all right with me. By the way, where am I?" Cimorene may notice that several silver spoons that happened to be lying around are now sticking out of one of Tas' pouches.

Though she's dressed well, she doesn't seem to have much of value on her other than her clothing. He could try stealing that, but it might get awkward.

She shrugs. "It's called the Mansion, and if you find out more than that, you'll have to let me know."

Don't worry. He won't.

"Is there anything interesting to do around here?"

"Who are you looking for?" Armand smiles at the young man.

((yes, he's wearing a gold wedding ring, which I hope Tas tries not to take, because then he'd get poked severely with the little knife Armand keeps around for self-defense... He's also wearing a magical ring on his right hand, but it's supposed to have defensive magics in it so stealing it probably wouldn't be easy.))

Tas smiles back. "No one really." He reaches a hand into a pouch, and comes up with the wedding ring. "Is this yours? It seems to have dropped itself into my pouch."

The smile turns into a worried frown, but at least the scamp is offering it back. "How did you--" Then he blushes in embarrassment. "Yes, it's very important to me."

"Oh good. If you were going to say I stole it, I didn't. I just happened to reach into my pouch, and it was there." He will never admit to being a thief, and only gave it back because he is feeling rather lonely. Normally, the best way to get things back is to grab him at the end of the day and turn him upside down.

"Ding-dong." Zillah laughs, watching him with bright, unnaturally green eyes. "No one here but me."

"Who are you?" He notices her eyes, and feels obliged to comment. "You have very green eyes. I once knew someone with hourglass eyes, but he was a wizard. Are you a wizard?"

His eyes, actually. A very short, beautiful, and feminine he, but a male all the same. "Oh no." Zillah's smile widened, catty. "I'm much better than a wizard." One finger reaches up to beckon. "Would you like to take a closer look?"

(Zillah is a vampire, so watch out or he'll eat you. Munch munch.)

Sorry. Tas steps a little closer to look at whatever it is that Zillah wanted him to look at, but doesn't see anything interesting, so he turns around and begins to examine a silver spoon that he found in a pouch. Suddenly, he turns around and shoves the spoon in her face to make sure that she can see it. "Look! The Kender Spoon of Turning!"

I'm sure that there are many people who are home. Unless everyone's outside today. Are they? But I'm not home, because I'm here, and this isn't home.

Tas is rather confused by this statement, and decides to ignore it. "Hi!" He offers his hand to be shaken. "My name's Tasslehoff Burrfoot, Tas for short. Who're you?"

Pleased to meet you, Tas. I'm the White Queen! *attempts to curtsey, and nearly falls over. When she gets up, she looks at the hand extended to her, confused* What do you want me to do with this?

"You're supposed to shake it. Like this." He attempts to demonstrate using his own hands, and ends up shaking so vigrously that he almost falls over himself.

*enter a gypsy woman with a goat* Hello. I don't think I've seen you here before.

"Hi!" He immediately goes over to the goat, and pets it. "I guess I'm new. I like your goat!"

*smiles* I think she likes you, too. Her name is Djali.

"Hi, Djali," he says to the goat, then turns to her. "What's your name? Mine's Tasslehoff Burrfoot, but everyone just calls me Tas." He puts out his hand.
