He glances around then takes a seat, looking nervous but trying to keep up his courage and his conviction to prove that

On his way home after spending the night at the Mansion, Armand sees Draco. He pauses to give him a wan smile and a whispered, "Good luck."

He glances up at Armand, his nerves clearly written in his eyes but he relaxes a little at seeing Armand. "Thank you..."

With a firmer smile, Armand nods encouragingly and turns to go.

*Curio's never met Draco before, so he doesn't expect anything in particular when he greets the stranger with an elegant sort of bow* So many dozens dwell within this place! I fear I cannot learn the names of all--your name good sir? For mine is Curio. *grins*

He looks up at Curio, not recognising him but impressed by his politeness. He thinks that will at least make it easier for him to respond in kind. "Hello...," he puts out a hand. "I'm Draco Malfoy. Would you... like to sit down?"

*ah, hand-shaking--he does so, amused* To sit would please me, though I'll leave ere long. What sweet diversions occupy your time? *sits*

He raises an eyebrow slightly at the old-fashioned language. "Sweet diversions?" He smirks slightly. "Well, that may be spending time with my husband..."

"Well, if it ain't the fairy princess come down from the fucken tower," Sweeney grinned. "Where ya been, man?"

".... How are you, Sweeney?" He asks politely, not really wanting to answer in any detail what he's been doing - since it's mostly been hiding away.

"Been alright, I guess. Been keeping busy." Between a new baby and a druggie? Yeah, he's been busy. "You seen the kid yet?"

"Kid? You mean yours? No..."

She's been spending more time in the Mansion lately, and so, during one of those times will suddenly spot Draco sitting on the couch. She knew, of course, that he and Harry had moved back in, but didn't really expect him to venture beyond their room. Brushing off some (imaginary) lint from her skirt and briefly touching Anárion's ring (now worn in plain view, on its cord over her jumper), she takes a small detour. She's listened to what Harry's said about Draco trying...

"... Hello."

He hears her familiar voice and hesitates before glancing up and forcing a smile. "Hello..... Hermione..."

A forced smile, huh? Either way, she'll raise an eyebrow in question.

"What brings you out here then?"

"Just ... sitting.. Do you have some time to.. talk?"

He frowns slightly before trying to put on a polite expression. "Hello."
