So I went home and tried on some dresses last week. We went to two different places. Unfortunately, one didn't allow pictures, but the other did. I will say, though, that at the place that didn't allow pictures, the woman brough a $5000 dress for me to try on. D'oh! LJ just ate my comment! ...Anyway, I think I like #3, 7, and 8 the best, but they're all nice (except I don't particularly like #5). It must be kind of a strange experience, trying on wedding dresses. Well, maybe not for you, but it would be for me :)

Yeah #5 was kind of a whim. It was interesting to try on, but not something I'd wear to my wedding.

It is still a little weird to me. I'm a practical girl. I always figured that wedding dresses "worked" similarly to other formal dresses. But there is so much more stuff under there. Trying to get into them without any help is like trying to navigate a maze of fabric. It's pretty crazy. It didn't really sink in until yesterday, when I tried on a veil with one of the dresses. Without the veil it's like you're a kid playing dressup. But with it, blam, suddenly you become a bride. It's weird like that. :)
