Hand eye co-ordination

Ardeth is in the Gym, unusually he's left his sword behind but he's brought all ten of his knives anyway. It's been a while since he's practiced with these so he starts by simply feeling the wieght f them and tossing them from one hand to the other, before long he's started to juggle with them moving with the fluidity of long practice. Owen stops by the doorway of the gym and tries not to let his mouth hang open. Juggling with knives... oh, that is so unfair. How can he even pull off that shit?

His own hand-eye coordination has gone to pot since he died and lost feeling, and what he has left is better suited to handling a scalpel than knife-juggling. Perhaps fortunately. Although that does look so cool.

He strolls in casually, humming and pretending he isn't watching.

Hearing your entrance Ardeth begins to carefully sheath the knives. Catching each knife before tossing it to the other had to be held between two fingers after catching four this way he sets those on the floor barely catching the next knife tossing them higher than before he sheaths the rest in a similar fashion.

Owen wanders around, keeping out of range of those knives. He's unwilling to settle to anything, in a snarky mood.

"Sorry mate. Interrupt your suicide attempt, did I?" he asks eventually, and then, "I can recommend a few easier ways to do it..."

"What makes you think this is a suicide? did you never go to the circus? Besides I havn't practiced with these in a while and it wouldn't be good to get out of practice" His knives are all sheathed again.

"I hate the circus," Owen tells him grumpily. "The last vaguely circus-type thing I went to, the ringmaster stole kids' last breaths and we found out my boss'd been part of that freak show." He's not entirely sure what was worse.

He perches on the edge of a rowing machine, watching Ardeth's knives. "Because, of course, we don't want to forget how to slice people's heads off now, do we?"

"That gets messy, knives are cleaner you have less blood loss and there easier to hide."

Raya watches him from where she's standing by the wall a good few feet away, watching the knives more than the thrower. She hasn't seen it done in a while, throwing knives, and though she has done it herself once, she's in no great hurry to repeat it.

But watching...well that's fine. "You're good."

"Thank you" Ardeth says beginning to sheath to catch and sheath the knives, it's not that he can't talk and juggle its just it tends to unnerve people when he does.

"Welcome." It's impassive, but polite. She's good at that.

"Can I get you anything?" Ardeth offers, silently wondering why so few people are normally that polite to him. Then again he has been spending a lot of time with Owen recently...
