Ok, I've finished my neckwarmer and I _love_ it. I'm wearing it as I sit here because I have a sore throat. It's snug enough at both ends to pretty much stay in place while the middle part is wide enough to drape and fold over itself nicely so my neck really does stay nice and warm ( Read more... )

Fiz and me went to the Wiesbaden Hobby Messe Friday night and yesterday and we're going again today. I found a spinning wheel. It's going to cost me about 350 Euros when all's said and done but it'll be practically custom made for me. I love THISI'm knitting a pair of baby socks for an advent calendar using that method right now, and it's going fast! I started the toes separately, then put the stitches "in the right order" on 4 needles and I'm about half way done with the foot.
