Ok, the washer and dryer are here and installed. The washer had its first run without laundry and now it's running its first load. I'm kind of excited about that... The dryer is running to get rid of the disgusting new plastic/rubber smell before I dry the first load of laundry ( Read more... )

Ok, so far there's no sign of any more flies. Let's hope they're really gone.

Ok, the 20 min are up and I've opened the windows. I guess in another 10-15 minutes I'll be able to go in without getting a headache from the spray.... Let's hope it worked.

Ok. I haven't used bug spray in ages. And by that I mean in more than 9 years. I have just "gassed" my bathroom and my kitchen. We have fruit flies. Those little disgusting things that only ever come in swarms *shudder* and we had two mighty swarms. And I don't know why! Yehaw. I finished vacuuming just now. The second load is in the washer and the first in the dryer. My room looks somewhat better, at least you can now see some floor and my rug *lol* This room looks better already, too and the entrance is actually clean ( Read more... )

YAY!
Both parcels arrived today :-) And that means I get to start sewing today. Well, after I tidy up my bedroom and the table my sewing machine stands on.... but YAY! And the needles look so cool, too.

Ok, I'm off to clean my bedroom!
