Last weekend was Comic Con and once again I had a lot of fun and came away exhausted. I attempted to go to two panels and walked away in failure. Those lines are just insane. I wish con would do what E3 does and just film the damn things and let people watch it online. I don't need to be in the same room as everyone else. I took lots of pics and

I should have bought the retail box of SC2. I went with the digital download, and for the Mac installer at least, it makes it about 90% through installing and then asks me for the install DVD which I don't have because I bought the download. I wanted to post about it, but Battle.net forums are asking for a CD-key to log-in as well. Phone support is flooded, and the webform requests haven't received a response yet.

Gah. Next time, buy the box, right?

Sorry to hear about the Con panel fails. I got in to some, but ended up focusing on either the industry related stuff or the ones that were uber-geeky ("Starship Smackdown" was actually kinda fun).

It took me two days to get through with techsupport since I had my account linked to a mobile authenticator that was tied to my old iphone. I always buy the collector's editions of Blizzard games because, in my opinion, they are well worth it!

If I weren't in the midst of packing for a move, I may have done the same (or at least gotten a retail box). I just gave away a stack of Mac OS 9 games, including the original Starcraft and Brood War Expansion. More "stuff" has no appeal to me.

I finally got through to tech support. Evidently, there are some people who know about the issue I'm having on the Mac, but we're still sorting out the fix. I hate being a pioneer/beta-tester.

The helpful gent at the Austin call center assures me the game is great, though. What's your experience been with it?
