Wait, oh yes, wait a minute Mister Postman...

Still no RiP Day Three entry because I'm still waiting for my new CD. The last one before that I got almost exactly a year ago, and before that... well, sometime 2005. I get most of my music as mp3s from Tabea and occasionally the sister. So statistically speaking once a year I buy a CD. Can't I expect that one to get delivered within days after I ( Read more... )

One vote for 6, okay.

Hee, the one from Ali Sami is the one I ordered via Fernleihe... But the one from Wolfram Kleiss sounds interesting, too. I'll check that one out, thank you. Die UB hat zwar alle Bücher im Online-Katalog, aber manche sind nicht verschlagwortet, also nur zu finden wenn man Autor und Titel bereits kennt.

Pleased to have been of book service. :D Hope you'll find more than those three...

You did see that Sea posted something about Europe in a fast seat?

I already have some more, I found two articles in the Archäologischer Anzeiger and the Archäologische Mitteilungen aus Iran. Both of them older, though. Doesn't seem to have been very active in Iran lately, our profession, at least except for sites such as Persepolis. *grumbles* But of course I had to get some of the interesting sites, the small ones, on which there is hardly any or only 50 years old literature.

The one from Greek? Yes, I did. I tackleglomped and rambled incoherently.

I like number six as well. I think it's got the clearest text and I think the picture's pretty. *grins* *waves* I have much to do today, so I shall see you later, yes?

Two votes for 6. And neither of you seemed to like the second ones with the gull. *notes*

You don't seem to be on now, and I'm about to go to bed (yes, I can do so without being told) so we'll see each other tomorrow. *yawns* Night!

Mh, the gull one looks a little blurry to me. And I don't like gulls. They poop on you when you go to the beach. Or when you're walking to your class. Or when you're at the zoo. Stupid gulls.

I see you!

*grew up at lake Constance and had never-ever poop a gull on her*

I see you too! Though I shouldn't be able to see you because it's bed time.

I like 4, and for the gull I prefer 3. :D I like the writing in 3 - it's not too difficult to read like many scripty-curly fonts are. But also, it's positioned lower in the sky where there's less white, so the letters stand out better against the blue.

Oh dear oh dear, sometimes I forget that the archaeological world is part of this world too. I wonder, with international tensions and all, if this will be an opportunity for you that not many people afterwards will get to have. If wars MUST be fought, let them be fought in space. There's no archeology to damage in space, no art museums (at least not yet - my plan hasn't been fulfilled yet), no civilians, no ecological endangered habitats, etc. (But of course, my solution for nearly everything seems to be "it's better in space.")

That was a random paragraph, I know.

*writes down* Noted! Funny, that's two for 6 and one for 4 when I somehow would have expected 2 to be the one. *shrugs* It's not like I am able to make up my mind on my own. 3? Okay. I was kinda sceptical about the font at first, but since only the first, capitalletter is curly that didn't turn into a problem. Oh, and both font colours deliberately blend in with the pics. Both didn't seem like the writing should set off against them ( ... )

*ignores first sentence* The last of the Freedom ones? That's what Grace said, too. Looks like it'll be the 6. of the first ones and the 3. of the second ones. As soon as can make up my mind which of the current ones I shall kick out.
