Oh, apparently sometimes your LJ friends page will get stuck on a certain day or time - the thing with looking like nobody's updated in 20 hours, and you KNOW they really have. Sometimes my friends' page has even gone back in time (spoooooky!) and will show me stuff from yesterday, when I KNOW the people have updated stuff and I've SEEN it! The page just gets stuck on a cookie or something. Just mess with things till it gets un-stuck. Like close the browser window and open it again. Or something. I read about it in the FAQ, I think.

It turns out no one did update. Either I was impatient or bored, or my flist was busy with rl or lazy.
