One down, ten to go!

I have started wrapping presents. Just finished the first one, and, if I do say so myself, this year's design is very pretty. Now if only I could get over this annoying habit of giving shapeless, impossible-to-wrap gifts.Yes, this needed to be shared. I love wrapping presents and the ratio of wrapping presents to coming up with this Christmas' wrap ( Read more... )

Your wrappings always look gorgeous... I'm trying to guess what colour motif you're going with.
Ohhhhh, it's so hard!

Hee, guess all you want, but to know for sure you'll have to wait until Christmas (or possibly longer, knowing the Deutsche Post) and see!
*yawns* I'll write my cards tomorrow. Seeing as I was crazy enough to go with the same style for them as for the presents, and have ergo just now put scissors, tape and glue aside.
As a result I have decided that, next year, I'll just busy some wrapping paper and a bunch of cards, like everybody else.

*cheers the Deutsche Post on* Whooo!

I... just buy them. Because I am unimaginative like that. Apologies! They still come with love, though.

I usually do too. But they were all so ugly, or cost one as much as I'd want to pay for five.

Wrapping presents is absolutely the best thing about Christmas :)
For me it generally involves coloured paper and shiny pens and coloured pencils and paint, and the whole evening of Christmas Eve, with carol concerts on TV, and as much imagination as I can find.
I really should take a picture some year :)

Well, the evening of Christmas Eve would be too late, as that is when we give presents, never mind that some I have to mail and ergo need to wrap even earlier. But, yes, best thing! :D

I generally only do hand designed paper for my family - it's a bit erratic whether I give presents to anyone else anyway - and that's Christmas morning.
Anyone before that is more likely to get bought paper (and actually I have lovely bought paper with holly leaves on it, and I'm kind of sorry I only have my secret santa present to wrap in it).

Same here. This year I'm giving, next year I might not.
Well, you can use the rest next year? I have several kinds of wrapping paper, and usually use one as the design's base.

*shocked gasp* But. Papers? Bands? Careful arrangements? Colour-coordination?

But it's no fun! Just wait until you get the little piece of art I sent you.
