I know exactly how you feel. One of the reasons why I love the ever-so-cheesy movie National Treasure is because Nicolas Cage's character sort of embodies that same feeling for me. When they're in Independence Hall and unrolling the Constitution and he stops and has a moment and says, "It's just that... the last time this was here... it was being signed." Every time I watch that movie, I kinda get a little patriotic chill up my spine for what our founding fathers tried to build.
