I played baseball on Saturday, the first game of the year, and I'm still sore. Yesterday, it was hard enough just to walk. And I've been lifting weights and riding the bike for the past few months. It didn't help the soreness from being less intense!

And don't feel bad, when I made the comment to my husband that I wasn't a spring chicken anymore (like Jerry used to call me), he answered "You're right, you're more like a decaying chicken now".

We all have to face our mortality some day. :-)

Well, hell. I think you need to go through 'summer chicken' and then 'fall chicken' before 'decaying chicken.'

Besides, given the relative age gap, you're still a 'spring chicken' to me Mal. (8-)
